Boat crash

Yup seen it a few times but still fun to watch.

Amazing that someone could be that poor of an operator to lose control of a 38 foot Fountain in calm lake waters with all those passengers and with cameras watching.

Sure I've made operator mistakes in the past {and probably will in the future} as most of us ---BUT not when you got hot babes on board especially not wearing any life jackets and certainly not when a camera is watching. :irked:

LOTO is not calm lake waters, Its truely one of the worst lakes out there. And I believe that happened shootout weekend too. Lots of new money in the area = lots of New AH's on the water. On the main body, the rollers put of by numerous large boats are amped and kick backed into the lake by rock walled shore line. Watch it and you can see the instant he should trottled down instead of nailing it for the last time. And if it was me the GO Pro would of been tossed over the side as soon as I regained consciousness. The dude in the blue shirt in back was the reporter and it was his camera, he was doing a report.

MERC245 is well informed. This did occur on Lake Ozark on the main channel on the Friday of the Shootout during a poker run with a lot of other powerboats out and about. The water was a little unpredictable that day. Driver was ticketed for a passenger gunwhaling while underway earlier in the video and for careless operation (perhaps WFO was not the proper speed for that situation).
Same day we got the following previously shared short clip of my CMate getting dusted by a canopied Fountain raceboat:

To be clear, I didn't mean to minimize the type of conditions that are so often found at LOTO ---- I am also familiar with the lake, but c'mon this is a 38 foot fountain {which I am also quite familiar with} ---- my point was if you can't handle large lake rollers in a 38 foot performance boat then you don't deserve to be captain during a prestigious photo shoot.

I'm just say'in

agreed with Kurtster, and if theres random off kilter waves, one more reason to slow down..... not sure but saw on another forum on this that this same guy may have done similar FUps in the past
