I kinda like the idea of camping on Dobbins. Even though I didn't stay all night this year. I will next year. Looks like the over nighters had a great time.

Have to say I'd gladly stay on Dobbins again.

The 'Mothership' certainly helped make the weekend as we only had to sleep on the island. If we had to cook/relax there also, I think we'd attract more attention than desired through the weekend.

I don't think the mother ship will be there next time. ram was talking about staying in a marina possibly. I would like to do a run if my boat is back together and stays together. somewhere to get something to eat or something.

If everyone votes for the island again, the mother ship will be there! I was just thinking it would be easier to do a group run if we weren't all tied up to the mother ship that was full of valuables. Leaving posed a challenge if everyone didn't want to go, on top of leaving the big boat there with everyone's stuff and tons of other boats around with hundreds of people.

Where ever it is, I will bring the mother ship as my sleeping quarters/hang out spot. I thought if we stayed at a marina, everyone could partake in the nighttime festivities and make it easy for everyone to leave together and make a run.

Looking forward to 2013! Any other ideas for location?

Dobbins Island
Kent Narrows?
Rock Hall?
Keith's house?

party at keiths house. woohoo. no where for smaller boats around rockhall, kent i think smaller boats could run on the south side. i would be up for kent narrows.

There is also the Chester River that winds up a few miles from kent narrows. It is a nice ride and cool old town!

that sounds cool. I havent been down to kent narrows in a while, there used to be alot of places around there you could go and park on the beach and hang out.

lol better check first before I offer the cottage. I also need to check on a rental property i know of on the water that would work great also. I'll check on a few things and maybe have something that will do all we want to do and everyone can hang together. Im good with whatever.

Another place that pops up is Jelly fish joels. The marina is there, bar, resturant. The creek to run in and the beach cove to camp on.

If I make it I will probably bring the family. Maybe make a long weekend out of it. Hopefully it doesn't fall on the same weekend as the Rondack Romp.
