Custom Transom Bracket for Pulsares

I'm looking for opinions on this transom bracket. Is it necessary or overkill. I personally like it and would love to see it commercially available, what do you all think?

I think its overkill, the principle behind it looks good, looks like it would take a lot of stress off the transom, but IMO its not necessary.

It wouldn't hurt, but if you search the site you can see Pulsare 2100 transom pix that I've posted, and the transoms are built so solid you don't need anything but the stainless steel plate that goes between the jack and the 'glass.
