Dana Marine side mount controls

No idea but they sure do look nice.

Do you still have the same boats? You've been gone for three years

No idea. I seriosuly considered them, but could not justify the $800. I would love to change mine out. But the way things have been going, I am just driving my boat as is and saving for the next one.

i have been looking into these, only problem i see is the price.

from what i hear they are worth it. again problem is the price. they do have the market cornered, so they can do what they want!

good luck with the decision! i know one day i will buy those controls.

I was looking at them as well, but that is a lot of money for controls. They would look outstanding, but are they worth $800? Maybe on the next boat, since the wife and I are already thinking bigger...

those look sick! I would love to swap out mine on my convincer, damn big bulky spaceship looking handle!

Three years???? Wow....... Time flies when you're having fun.

Yes, same boats. Haven't had the '19 out in years though. I have a newer 21 Crownline bow rider now that we take the kids tubing and skiing. It's a great day boat with lots of room.

The $800 price tag is high, I know. It is an expensive upgrade and I'm having a hard time with it. Itr seems the stock Telaflex dual action control is getting more and more play in it each time I go out. The other upgrading option is Livorsi's single lever http://www.livorsi.com/catalog/controls_smc.htm priced around $450.

I have only found two stories on the internet of people installing the Dana dual lever and both have good things to report. But... with that price tag I want to read many good stories.

:offtopic: but you gonna make it to the meet up this weekend?
Info is in my sig.

We cannot make it. I had seen it on OSO and we had it on the calender.

We close on our new house on Friday. We were renting tempory while it was being built and our lease expires on June 30. With moving, cleaning, walk thrus on both homes..... No boating for us until probably July. :(

I lokked at the Livorsi option too, and I think if I were gonna do one or the other, I would hold out and spend the extra $350 for the Dana. You get the benefit of the "zero effort" or split controls and much more stylish.
