DUST COVER FOR A 253

253SED

New member
Don't want a heavy cover...just a lightweight dust cover to keep on boat while in garage...something with elastic all the way around maybe...any idea where to get one.....1997 Convincor253.....What I'm finding stops around the 22-24 ft range.....

I wanted the exact same thing for my boat. I went to 2 different shops who did not want to make a lightweight one. I don't know why. I went with a Sunbrella cover for storage. Its not "too" heavy and looks good. It was $1500 from the same shop that does ALL the interiors for Skaters.

I just got a Carver Industries semi-custom fit cover for my powerquest through savvyboater.com they had by far nest price. I went with Sun-dura fabric and am very pleased. They do offer a cheaper material yet. That was mid grade one. Fits real nice and has elastic bottom with tie down loops.
