FINALLY got the Pulse wet

FINALLY! :brickwall:

This has been the coldest and windy-est rotten spring I can remember. Today was the day I finally dragged the boat lift out and put the Pulse in the water. Went for a few rides, stopped by some neighbors and BS'd for a while. Was a good day over-all.................:surf:

No pix, not that I can post anyway. I did take a pic of one of my dogs standing in the bow area looking out smelling the breeze, but it's on the cell phone with no way to get it off. I'm too cheap to buy the cable that allows me to download the pix off my cell :o

I was going to say some thing about our spring weather.I've had the boat home 3 weeks and i haven't gotten it wet myself. But boy does my lawn look Great!:thumb:

I almost went for a test run today, but decided to polish my boat instead. Alittle chilly here in Illinois.

Glad you took her out, Jim! Everything run good?

runs as good as last year :thumb:

I really wish I had a new Opti or ETEC 175 on the back though. Be nice to have more power and use less fuel!

JW I've taken mine out twice so far this year. The weather is crazy this year for some reason,it's been really windy this year and the temps are crazy unstable. Today for example we hit a record 57* for a new high/low for the month of May.

yep, been very cold AND windy here all spring too. I think I've been on just a couple nice warm pontoon boat rides. I'm surprised it's cold that far south!

I've been out 5-6 times already but then again nobody's accused me of being too sane lately.

ahw heck - I was in the water a few weeks ago, trying out the crazy surfjet. Which makes me a little crazy. My bud's kids (15,14 and a 11 yr old little girl) also rode it. We all had wetsuits on and it was absolutely fine. Got that water up the nose feeling from one good fall - felt like summer... except it was 60 and windy! But that just made the water feel warmer.

I think it's supposed to hit 80 on Wed. up here! If I get the radio installed and a few other things tomorrow night, then "well honey, I really should take it out before the big weekend to be sure everything's safe for the kids - don't you love your children honey - good, back the trailer in then!!

Soooo.... two pages worth of posts and not a pic. I vote to have this thread deleted soon.

OR.........I should be voted off the island! That's right, make JW sell his boat because he isn't playing along :rof:

OK, that's it, I'm in trouble. First $6900 takes it..........................:poke:

Here's one:

Getting gray out, we're supposed to have rain until Friday now. At least it was a nice weekend!

Didn't even take the boat out. Spent the weekend at the best B&B in South Haven MI, called the Yelton Manor. Got back this afternoon, and before I could get the CMate out the neighbor invited us over to ride in his new deck boat so we did that instead. So the Pulse sits for another week unused.........

The Pulse still looks good, Jim! Sounds like you had better weather then we did in the Carolinas.

Hey SCT! It was sunny and warm if you kept out of the wind. We've had an ENE wind all weekend which brings the cold Canadian air. But it was really nice out at the big lake. Saw an off-shore Checkmate with the same colors as my Pulse. I'm guessing it was a 25'. Sounded almost as good as Big Red's boat. Also saw a Powerquest and a REAL nasty-motored Fountain. But the topper was this boat right here that we admired all weekend, and then got to see motor down the river and heading home to Wisconsin:
