The winter is finally over, although it was darn cold that weekend. Couldn't keep my son and nephew out of the Checkmate! The helmets were for warmth - it was raining lightly as well. We found out that there is another Checkmate on our lake. The guy stopped over in his fishing boat when he saw ours. He had a 16 footer, but just upgraded to a 21. Haven't seen it yet. As rough and windy as it was we got 62mph on the speedo.
