It's a Pacifica, they are kind of rare. They have a higher free board than all the other 21's. Pretty good sized 20 footer. It's actually 20.5. The boat handles 3 and 4 footers like a much larger boat. It's my son's boat I can e-mail you some pic's of it running last month. I don't have enough posts on here to do attachments. As for the pic's of half the boat, it was windy and cold and he took them with his phone. The cover was a little stiff and icy. His cousin is making him a super deal on a 23 Warlock so he just decieded to sell it Tues.Is that a special edition?
Thanks, I'll have him revise his craigslist add tomorrow with some better pic's. It really is a pretty cool good running boat. To get something that runs and rides any better, you pretty much have to start looking in the 24 or 25 ft. $18 to 20,000.00 level. You can copy and paste the pics and videos if there on another site.
Yeah, I gotcha on the Pacifica, but the Chevy logo on the side, was that a special edition that I think I think I've seen once or twice in the past? It's a Pacifica, they are kind of rare. We bought the boat off this forum, it was advertised as an edelbrock special edition, that was all bs. It had a cracked water pump housing in the lower unit that would pump water at an idle then starve the top of the engine when running. After overheating it and ruining a set of heads and a motor, we went through the lower unit and put an all new 383 stroker motor in it actually took a year to straighten it out and about 5 grand but it kept the kid busy and I made him wait until he had the cash saved up to buy every part. With the trim tabs and stroker motor, this thing 'walks the dog'. It origionally had a whale tail fin on the lower unit and you coulden't even steer it at 60 mph. With the bennett trim tabs, it runs very stable and gets up on the pad and really goes. All we had was a 21 stainless and it comes out like a rocket and has no trouble spinning it to 6000 + rpm's. I think it might even turn a 24 or 25. The next step was to try my buddies 23 and see where it wants to run. I'm thinking we want to run the engine at about 5200 wot. Thats what we cammed it for.Yeah, I gotcha on the Pacifica, but the Chevy logo on the side, was that a special edition that I think I think I've seen once or twice in the past?
I'm thinking low 70's comfortable and stable with no chine walking. Should be able to do it in 3 footers and blast off and plane right away with 5 people in it. Thats what we built the motor to do. Just have to find the perfect all around prop. The engine has tons of power, totally night and day over the 350. The roller cam and full roller rockers helped a ton also. Probably could get it to run at least 75 with 1/2 tank of fuel and one person, right now thats all speculation. We gps'd it at 67 spinning the 21 at 6000 but really don't want to run the motor anywhere near that. Would like to see 5200 max fully trimmed out.i always thought that was a very cool boat. so what would you expect it to run with the right prop and the 383? you ever get up near traverse city?
Still for sale, he's not in a big hurry and he has no payment on the boat so he would or could trade it up or down for a pick up truck or a 4 wheeler atv he could use for hunting. His cousin has a 23 ft. Warlock that he has been saving for him. The trim tabs REALLY woke the boat up, night and day in handling, ride, steering and speed. I can't believe they were't standard equipment on a boat like that. For the cost they are a very small investment for the difference they make and you can't even begin to put a price on the safety of you and your passengers. How did I miss this one your boy wants to sell that pacifica now I still want to put tabs on mine.
