How much water pressure????

21mate

New member
OK, I am getting ready to purchase a water pressure gage for my 21 Starflight with the 2.5 245 on it and wanted to know how much water pressure should I expect?
Gaffrig sells 2 gages, a 15 and 30 psi.
Should the 15 be enough?

I have been told 15 psi is about where they run, I am having one installed this winter and am going with a 30.

I went with the 30 psi gauge. The problem with the 15lb gauge is it is not as acurate at max 15lb. If by chance you runn a high pressure the gauge could be damaged.
My 2.4 runs about 18lb of pressure.
