HP RATING

Well-known member
The pulasre 2000 BR is rated for 250 hp and is 20.1 ft w/100 in beam and weight of 1325 lbs..
The pulsare 1850 BR is rated for 175 hp and is 18.7 ft w/100 in beam and weight of 1415 lbs..
Is the 1850 under rated, since it's heavier thn the 2000..should it not be rated for 200 hp..

I will be the first to tell you I have no idea but I believe I read in another thread that it is basically based on length nowadays.

The weights were printed wrong for the 1850 in the 08 catalog Claupie. I had to answer that one several times in our last boat show. I'm not sure of the correct weight of the 1850 though. Just a misprint that got through the cracks.
