Im looking at a pulsare 2000 br with A 150 optimax . Never had A mate with A outboad .Is A 150 under powered ?What kind of speeds
 
What year? I got a 225 Pro XS on mine and it's A LOT of fun. 150 will get you from A to B but you won't approach the potential of the hull. Still...a pretty nice boat to cruise in.
 
It's a great boat! I only asked the year to see if you were looking at a new 2000 BRX. The 150 will be a fun ride. Maybe a little light on the HP if your hauling a lot of folks.
 
I am am going to look at it this weekend . The owner says the boat is like new with very little use . What do you guys think would be A fair price ? It has no hydro steering and A manual jack plate cockpit cover and bow cover.
