i have a 18ft 1990 sport fire am replacing the out drive it has a stern jack on it . i didnt put it on was wondering do i keep or not . he also put a v8 350 in it maybe thats the reason. stern heavy. the bottom isant a perfect v 10inches across is flate.didnt get a chance to drive it to much just got it this year hits 70 but scary .dosant feel like anything is in the water thanks for your advice

IF Its an I/O, do you mean stern jack rather than jack plate? If so, I've heard pros and cons.
