K plane - floppy floppy

So I noticed (during an oh $h!# moment abruptly twisting to one side while coming on plane WOT) that one of my tabs has little to no resistance and can easily be manipulated by hand both up and down. Everything I search has to do with electric or pump issues and tabs not moving. Both tabs move up and down together and separately just as they should when using the switches. Both pumps run and the indicator even works, however the one tab can be manipulated by one hand and the other sits in place where it was adjusted. Any ideas or suggestions?

O-rings in the cylinder could be bad. Pump pressure will move it but when you grab it manually the fluid can bypass the seals. If actual K-planes, they each are independent systems with their own pumps, and solenoid relays. One has nothing to do with the other.

Yep, you have a leak somewhere that's causing pressure to be relieved. I just helped a buddy figure out his that were doing the same thing and it ended up being a leaky hose. Just do a good once over on the side that isn't working and you should be able to find it.

Hey gang, I'm not an IO guy but do you hammer the throttles down and get on plane at WOT? I thought to extend the life of your Bravos you eased on plane. Just trying to help Mr BuzzNectar.

Yeah, that's a good way to make a bravo go BOOM!!! I usually bring mine up to about 3000rpm's and let it bring itself up on plane.

I slowly roll the throttle close to pinned but back off as it coming on plane. About the same as Corey I usually don't get past 3000 getting on plane.

But it's so fun to switch off the silent choice and hear those twins roar as you blast off...seriously though I get what your saying I just wanted to put in perspective in my op how puckering the feeling was when accelerating and the boat suddenly seemed like it was going to roll over. I do plan on having someone help me look over for leaks while raising and lowering the faulty k tab. Hope I get to share some good news on this with you guys soon. Thanks.
