Looking for Check 16 or 17'

I am looking for a used Checkmate 16 or 17' long (ideally) and a bowrider, with as big an engine as the boat will hold. Naturally I want a reasonable price - reasonable depends on how much I can talk to my wife into on any given day!
I'm in southern Ontario but can purchase/pick up in the US as I'm retired and have plenty of time available.

I want a rally fast boat that is a toy and I am not on a huge lake so size is not a major isse.

I check around the internet and boat mags regularly but if anyone knows where such a boat is available would you let me know.

You could also check with Roberts Marine these two dealers I think are two of the best around. You wouldnt go wrong dealing with either one of them.
 
i have mx-15 (15.5 ft) for sale with a very solid transom, it does 55 with a 140 and will do 70 with a 150, put a 200 on it and you will hit 100 if you don't die first. It's easy to put in and out and looks good to. -shane
