Looking for20 cigarette

Doubt you'll get many bites since its a checkmate forum. I have seen a couple smaller cig boats but they were anything but cheap!

This is the Checkmate site, ya dipsh!t. Try looking around the intranets.

To some east coasters, ALL these boats are "Cigarette" boats. Cigarette HATES that, they spend money on ad campaines to try to "edumacate" these people. Just like Xerox spends money to tell people that while a photocopy might be a Xerox photocopy, you can't Xerox something, to them Xerox is not a verb. Even Google prefers that you do a Google search, instead of Googling something, although I think they kind of enjoy that, officially if they want to protect the brand name they have to at least act like they are protecting it.

Cigarette on the other hand, has to really step up and protect its brand, they are very much in danger of losing that protection, and going the way of the Bayer Asperin. To them Cigarette is not a style, it is a brand.

You see these ads a lot in writing magazines.

WOW!!!

Thats pretty in depth Coop..

Am I to believe there isn't one single person on this entire site that has a spare Cigarette lying around to sell this poor guy?
Personally, I don't have one but I happen to have an extra bridge in Brooklyn that I'd be willing to part with. Cheap.
P.M. me.

i know of 4 cig 20's in muskoka - and none of them will go cheap. they seem to think they are worth more than gold - kind of a cool boat - but not worth what these guys think they are.

Not me Fountain is half the boat a Cigarette is.

i completely agree only the best of the best boats will run with a cigarette in rough water and if youve ever had the good fortune to ride in one take a look around absolutely every piece is the best of the best available thats why they cost so much

thats the right color for someone on this board who may be in the market for a performance boat

price actually seems a little high for what power is in it what are those 700's with nxts worth these days

Chop gun....sounds like Baja. I'd like to see that Vid. and yea it did seem a little pricey,, must be paying for the name now a days. I always thought cigarette was a nice boat. A friend of mine had a 20 footer back in the eighties, almost bought it. Still kinda' wish I had.
