New here not to boating

:welcome: nice boat. Finally another 281 maxxum owner on here. What are you getting out of it with a single big block?
 
Welcome...every once in a while I see something that really gets me itchin' for a big block. I just wish I had some water around me that needed a 28' footer. Maybe if I move back to FL....maybe.

I know what you mean i cant find much info about the 281 maxxum do you know how many was made? Doesent seem like alot.As for the speed i just got it at the end of last year and only had it out a few times the previous owner said 70mph and that's what i have had it too on the speedo but i have to wait till spring to get it out with the gps and see how fast it will go. How fast does yours go with Outboards?

I plan on going to Cass lake because it is close to me for after work.Lake Saint Clare on the weekends. A couple of put in Bay Trips. And Hardy Dam when i go up north.
