2400BRX

New member
Hi,

I just joined and live up in the Minnesota (Twin Cities) area. Minneapolis - St. Paul.

Own a 21' Baja at the moment and have decided to buy a 2400BRX. It will take a while to find the right rig at the right price, but that is the next boat.

I bought my Baja new in 1988, so I have owned it a long time. I'll post some photos if your would like to see it. I wasn't sure being a Checkmate forum if anyone would want to see a Baja.

Anyway, looking forward to the Chase for a Checkmate and making a few new friends here.

Thanks

Thanks, it has been a great boat and we still enjoy it today.

Not too many boats pass me. The occasional Hydrostream hanging on the ragged edge or small boat with a Big Block, but aside from that, it gets along pretty well and has a well thought out interior that is very spacious.

So we will see if I find a BRX to replace it or not. I think the 2400 is the first boat I have seen that I feel is a step in the right direction above what I already have.

That's a very tidy boat you have.
I own the Checkmate equivalent from the same year and I see a 2400 brx as one of my next choices.:thumb:

Welcome! I'm just south of you a bit. The 2400 BRX would be a good step up from your nice Baja. It's definitely on my short list but if I had the money I would have a hard time staying away from KCT11's 2400 BR Crawl Through. Good luck with your search.

That's a pretty darn nice Baja you got there.

The 2400 BR should be the next great thing in your future.;)

Welcome. The 2400 makes for a great all around boat. It looks like you are into watersport and its great for that., The hull gets up on plane quick and will maintain slow speeds while towing. Sometimes I can just maintain 15mph and its easy to maintain 18 mph. It gets on plane better and maintains slower speeds then my 2100 would. It's surprising for how big the boat is.
