Chris,
this website is great, I'm pretty fascinated with all the pics of the great looking mates, and I thought I was only one of the few proud owners, but I need help and I know your the man for it. I'm looking for rear cooler hatch latches for a 89 starflite and how I can order new upholstery for it. Plan on seeing my pics in the near future.

Welcome to the board VA.

Thanks for the nice comments, I'm glad you enjoy our little "joint".

What I'm going to do, is move this thread over to the Ask The Experts forum.

I put it here!

Hi:

I'm a Chris not THE Chris, anyway your latches should be easy enough to find, most boat companies don't make their own hardware. Remove the latch and look for a manufacturer name - probably attwood or perko. Take all the measurements you can off it or better yet take it to your local marina/boatyard. Ask their parts guy real nicely to let you look through their Land n Sea (formerly Barclay) Book. Chances are if anyone sells that lactch it will be them. Failing that email me at work (cether@muskoka.com) with a picture/ sketch whatever and i'll see what i can find.

For your upholstry, just call checkmate, they'll make it for you - and from what i have seen their prices are very reasonable.
