New here! Been around boats all my life mostly checkmates. Dad has a 99 convincer he bought new and still looks new, we restored a 73 mx-13 a few years back wish I would've had the funds to purchase it before the old man sold it. i recently purchased a 77 17ft v-mate 2 all oring all for the second owner for what I thought was a very good deal! Has a 175 Johnson that runs like new. Has a 23p aluminum prop does 55-57 @5300 rpm. I need more speed! Just need some insight on how to rig it and prop choices. Mods to come jack plate new prop and bobs nose cone. And here's a few pics of the old girl and her current tow rig 1977 ford bronco that i bought when I was 17 and slowly restored her! (While the other tow rig is in the process of being built) D9FB5E9A-D495-4146-B2E0-D0728E86931A.jpg16067C58-7478-4869-80DC-A23031068FB2.jpg
