New Water Pressure Gauge

undecided

Active member
Hi Again,

When I re-did my dash I added a Water Pressure Gauge. When I ran it last weekend the gauge did not register until I hit about 35-40 mph.
I ran some air through it and it came out good but the water just does not seem to register the gauge at low or no speed.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

Joe

OK, that's what I thought you were saying. Where do you have the gauge tied into the motor?

Well thats some of the problem, the guy who originally did my dash put the line at the bottom of the motor, being that my boat is a 1988, that was not a good idea.
Where I had boat fixed this winter he moved the line to the top of the motor where it should be. So after talking to him yesterday, we figured that there might be a piece of rust or debris in the line.
So I called gaffrig and ordered a whole new line with fittings. One of the fittings was mushroomed.
I cant go wrong with a whole feed line.

Thanks for all the input.
