Oil Change Pump Recomendation

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]Hey all-need a recomendation for an oil change pump (for a Merc 502) for the new boat. I had one from Harbor Freight that was a total POS. Elec or manual just want soemthing that works well. Gotta suck out 7 quarts on that big block. Defender Catalog

Jim, I have the Shurflo Oil Changer that I got from the Defender Marine catalog. Its the one with the 12 Volt pump on the 5 gal. bucket. It was a bit pricey but I've been using it for 5 years and it still works great. The Cat diesel in my trawler holds 14 quarts and it takes roughly 10 min to suck it up.
