i have an evinrude 235. a couple days ago me and my dad did a compression test on this motor and tested all the cylinders for spark. this motor is a v6. the entire right bank has no spark what so ever. we diagnosed it as the powerpack. i was wondering if any of you would happen to know how much one of these parts would be.if anyone has any knowledge on the subject and is willing to share please let me know. thanks everyone.

i'll be sure to do that today when i get out of work. and i was contemplating weather or not i should get two just to save some trouble down the road. and now hearing it from someone else i think it would be wise on my part. thanks a lot. if you can find out how much it was i would greatly appreciate it. thanks again.

FYI
Years ago my cousin converted his 1968 85hp Johnson from Powerpack ($300) at the time to automotive coil. I converted my Father-in-Law's 1972 85 HP Johnson also.
I am not suggesting that you do this, but was wondering if anyone else had done this. I used a standard coil but an Accel coil would probably be better.

Hope this info is of interest.
