painted topside

Not sure if this is the right forum but I looked at a nice 21' enchanter, 1988 with a beautiful blue/flake hull with the exception of someone painted the top side and right below the rubrail with some sort of paint. How much do you think it would cost to restore it back? I would have bought the boat that night but just couldn't get past the top side paint job.

Thanks for any input.

Jaime

Leave it alone and walk away unless its dirt cheap. To me a boat is worth half of its value if somebody has been painting on it.

was probably just faded badly, you could use stripper and remove and see what you have....paint would not bother me...my .02...Rob
