Hey guys I had a realy hard time trying to fix my boat porpising problem I finaly came to the conclution that the boat is under powerd and had to go with a 21 pitch quick silver prop I am getting around 58 -60 mph at 4700 rpms but no more porpising the ride is much better I think over the winter if I dont sell it I am going to put a pro charger on . Has anyone tried this, mine is a 454 mpi. thanks force

I don't think it is A good idea to pro charge A 454mpi (unless it is A 454mpi mag).The 454mpi (310 hp)Is A great engine but will not hold up to A procharger .This engine has A cast crank and lighter duty rods with small oval port heads Compared to the magnum witch has steel crank,better rods and retanular port heads.
