Predictor 1989 140 looper prop question

I finally got my motor rigged and running. Currently running a 13x19 prop. Anyone with similar checkmate predictor have input about where to go prop wise. Have 6in bobs jackplate. Doing 54mph on gps now with me and two 120lb guys in the boat.

You should be able to hit 60 or so with a 23 pitch Raker. What RPM are you running with the 19 pitch?

RPM

Just ran the boat for the first time fully fixed on Tuesday. I had a bad gear case but she is fixed now. My tach is off so I am working on getting the settings right and will re-run it this weekend. I know i can go up question is what to. 23 Raker is what i have heard from other guys running similar setups to mine as well. Thank you for the info. Much appreciated.

19 pitch at 54 MPH is likely at 6000 or so . You should be able to make it into the 60's with that motor and a 23 ish pitch prop.

do a search for combatrock, he had a enticer with a 140 on it I think and did a fair bit of prop testing, bet youd have some good luck with a 23ish laserII from what others are running, though from reports wont have great holeshot, I love my 24 trophy plus with a 135 merc, tho dont have GPS #s yet

23 pitch Prop

I am trying out a 23 pitch on Monday. I forget the name of the prop someone is letting me use it to try out. Its a 4 blade. We will se maybe to much stern lift. I will report back. Thank for the information guys.
