predictor info please

Want to start getting the things I need to set up my predictor... I have a few questions.

1) Whats the max hp a predictor can handle without a ss plate in the transom

2) How much of a standoff for a jackplate has anyone found that works pretty well with it.

3) What pitch and size prop with above engine/jackplate combo has anyone had luck with (think I want two one for skiing and one for speed)
