Pro E.T. Props.

BADBK

Well-known member
Any o/b guys tried one? Wildman, got any layin around you can throw on one of your 'Mates for a beat run?

I really want to try one, but they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$:irked:

After the $440 Bravo 1 blunder I'm a bit gunshy.. good news is I sold that and got another one the way to try this week. 29P TXP :D

These props work better on lighter hulls. They are made to spin up fast and run high RPM's for a better ET.

ET Copy

BadBK, I've got a Mazco RE that is an ET copy (28p) that not only gave me more mph but also seemed to drive easier. It replaced a big ear chopper same pitch.

Hey BK, is your Yami the same as a Fat Shaft Merc???

Is the Mazco Flo-Torque? If BK isn't interested I may be.

Flo torq hub? Send some pics and a price to j_burback@yahoo.com when you get a chance. I'm definitely interested. Why'd you replace it with a chopper?

Yami is small spline/flo torq hub.

Been down that Pro ET road already

Worked well but not the holeshot i expected, also my fastest prop to date, but not worth risking throwing a blade as the've been know to do.Had a 28" and a 30" and sold them both while they were still in good shape.

:eyecrazy: That would suck.... I could get my L/U mod then though if it schmeged something. :bigthumb:

Did the ones you tried out have PVS holes? single/dual? Might just slap in on there and see how close to that 92.8 I can creep up on:poke:

Got a 29 TXP enroute now and should be perdy fast too, but we'll see.:thumb:

A 28 ET was also the fastest prop on my 2100BR/300X. It was faster by 2+ mph over a tricked out Trophy. But that being said, I didn't like the holeshot or the hadling of the ET. Plus, I was scared to death of hitting a rock after paying big bucks for the ET. Great props but I agree they probably run on lighter SOBs better....

Maybe, you can pick up a cheaper ET copy or a chopper prop that has an ET bend on it.

Good luck and try has many props as you can find, beg or steal!

Props i've got

Jesus! Prop whore.... I'd like to try a 28 Hydromotive/28 Performer 4 too. A worked over 30 Bravo might be worth a try, but the 28 Bravo I tried I wasn't impressed with. Hoping my 29 TXP works well.

You Got That Right

I totally agree with Chris (bluehealer) My chopper has a much better hole-shot than the ET. The ET is a bunch lighter meaning less metal so I use it just occasionally. I carefully inspect it on a regular basis and do expect it to become a paper weight eventually. With that being said its still my best mph prop.
