Do to a mishap our 300xs is down for the summer. It has a Dbr 1.1 kit and makes around 340hp with that kit.Plan is to send the powerhead to Dbr for a full build for even more hp.We have 2 boats a malibu ski boat and velocity. If I can find a pulsare with power ill swap motors with the velocity. How much hp is the consensus on hp needed for 100mph.A bowrider is my only option. Our new hous is on a lake and it needs to be a family boat.

If I remember correct, Wildman(Randy Corsen) has had one to low 90's with his set up (300xs, 14" setback using a 10" bracket with 6" prejack and 4" hydraulic jack plate, undisclosed prop) that's down in Florida at sea level and maybe in salt water with Randy driving? It's a rather great accomplishment. The bow cover is going to take a beating at that speed.
