Seriously....1989 checkmate 85+mph

If it does have 320 hp it could do 80's. 100 is Bahaha talk. Thats a Spectra. They are pretty heavy and a bit taller.

Lets see...

With a 24P prop he will be in the 7-8K RPM range depending on gear ratio for 92MPH (that is at 10% slip)

I suppose it is possible, but that must be some motor!!!!!!!!!

100MPH...I'm calling B.S.!!!!!!!!!!

My Pulsare speedo was buried well passed 85 and dripping water when my GPS told me 73.5 mph :rof:

Nope -- not happening!!!! As one of our members said -- Craigs list can often be compared to a book of fairy tales.

I have all to do to keep my in the mid to high 80's on gps. So I wonder what he is looking at. I will call him tomorrow.

oh c'mon fellas, it could do a hundred with just one more minor mod...

small drill bit to enlarge the intake on the speedo pickup

 Thats fast real fast its sounds like a ticking time bomb. I hate to be on that boat when the engine blows.

There is a guy on here who runs one of these boats with a 400 hp big johnson on it. I think he only sees 90.

thats crazy bs

muddshark has a spectra with a worked v-8 and i think he is running almost 90. I saw that listing on cl i bought a spectra last year have not had it in the water yet but did a lot of research and most have 225 and are running right around 70mph

92mph sounds like a water speedo reading. Only 8" setback? That heavy hull needs a lot more then that to be that fast.
Other then that its a nice looking boat. A better pic would be nice.
