My new boating friend, Rick. I came across him and his wife this August and had to have a picture. Now that I meet him and his mid-90’s 27 ft 502 equipped Baja, I’ve ran into him every time since. Also he’s the reason I’m looking into repropping. He snuck up to run me one day and I wasn’t able out run him. I’m leaving to much on the table with that 25p Mirage +. I typically top off before I head out each time, with a full fuel load and myself or plus 1, I spin it at 46-4700 rpms which was fine until then. Now looking to test a 25 mirage or drop down to a 23 mirage + to eek out those last 2-3 mph that everyone ends up looking for!!!!!!!

Here’s a pick of my last destination (or haunt) it’s name is Clam Diggers just outside Monroe MI. Not much to look at, but they make a great Rum Runner and $7 hoggie. It’s about a 20 mile ride south on Erie then up the river rasin, past the powerhouse, past the refinery/quarry, past the ***** factory and finally under I-75 and your there. Enjoy the off season!

So you have two plans of action. Change your prop and gain a couple MPH.....or just add horsepower until your current prop is optimum. I prefer the latter option. I'm thinking a belt driven speed snail would do the trick!

Plan of action or pipe dream is one day is to visit Kunkles for pro charger and steering one day, by that time maybe some head work too. But there’s a few other items like remodel 2 bathrooms into his and her day spas, find 2nd job, pay off house, retire from 1st job, make 2nd job the new career, find little fixer upper (with a out building) somewhere near the 45 parallel with my gal, making her happy. So right now I’ll be happy just beating Rick.
