Spark Plug cross reference

Okay with any luck, I should be getting my boat from Dave within the week. Then I have to break it in - I want to get a spare set of plugs just in case I foul some during breakin.

I know the dealers charge an arm and a leg and we used to run NGK's in the race boat. SO anybody got a cross-reference for the plugs in a 225 3.0L EFI? I don't have the boat so I don't even know what the stock plugs are at this point....

Any help would be appreciated!

Check the below site. You enter your boat/engine info and you get the applicable spark plug. Poke around on the site there ia also a way to cross refrence plugs.

Also you can get NGK plugs from summit for about $2.25 each. That's where I get'um

Cool link THANKS!

They show multiple 225 engines so I checked the 225 3.0L work and the 225, 6cyl and both had the plug BR8HS.

I am pretty sure that is the right plug, anyone now for certain...
