My boat has an old chrome and wood steering wheel. Does anyone know what should be used on the wood to protect it? It doesn't have anything on it now but it's in good shape and I would like to keep it that way. Thanks.

Tracy, if you wanna go high tec use a product called " Bristol Finish" its a 2-part poly product but very pricey. For the teak grate in the floor locker on my Sportfire I used a Minwax product from Home Depot called " Helmsman " and it seems to be holding up very nice and was under $ 10 a quart.
