Too much snow on my boat!!!

We have been getting alot of snow here in central OH. I keep the boat in a storage lot and i figured i had better go check on it. After work today I want for a look and found close to 15" on it. Now, me being the smart guy I am planned for this and used 3 tarps and tied them all down at every grommit. I pushed it all off and everything looked good under there.

Have a look.

I got all of the covers cleared from saturdays storm and now it is starting all over again.
39 days till spring

We had it pretty bad up here, but not quite that bad!

Probably a good thing you stopped and cleaned it off- don't know how much you're getting today, but we have gotten 4 inches so far and its still going. All in all this has been a pretty easy winter- I'm just ready for the damn thing to be over with!

Kinda funny, we havnt had that much snow all year. All the storms are going south of us and thats fine with me.

yeah its been coming down hard. its all done now but I think we are getting 40 mph winds and more snow tomorrow. :shakehead:

Here east of toronto we've hardly had any snow at all except a couple days in december where it didn't stop. Oddly for the time i'm looking out the window at grass with a few little patches of icy snow here and there. I know how the heavy snow can be on the top and tarps. i would stick 2x4 posts underneath cut to hold up anohter running the length from windshield to transom. worked very well.

That kinda pic is the EXACT reason why my boat is in the garage and my cars are sitting out in the snow.

I seams all the big storms have gone just south or north of my area:popcorn:, and me and my friends have been egging me:poke: since I sold my dump truck with a great snow plow in 2007:brickwall:

That kind apicture is exactly why my boat (and truck) is in the garage and my wife's car is sitting outside in the snow.

Please don't tell me that beautiful boat is under that MOUND of snow -- :(

Matt,When you move to the neighborhood I'll hook you up with inside winter storage at a very very reasonable price.I won't have it anyother way now!

Its all good. I had it wrapped up like you were getting some in Mexico. :sssh: TRIPLE protection.

I'm looking at a house just east of Birmingham on Sunday. It looks good and has a new 2.5 car garage. I think its going to fit 1.0 boats instead.

I'm so sick of shoveling snow off the cover of my Mckee a few times a week. Amazingly the Walmart cover is still in once piece.

Got the Checkmate under my carport and 2 covers at the river, so it is snow free.

Feel like I'm living in the midwest. Clear the steps and driveway and rear steps every morning, shovel more at night when I get home. I've got snow piled up around the edge of my driveway and have given up on the front walkway. This sucks.

Was that 99 or 00 we went to Mexico, I wish you would have told me about wrapping it 3 times then. I could have avoided lots of pain, burning, dripping and a few visits to the doctor. Not to mention the ride home covered in sand from a late night "walk" on the beach.

Looks like it's wrapped up good, my mate is in the garage but the pontoon sits outside and last year the poles that hold the tarp up got bent, I tried a different method this year with a huge tarp from walmart draped over the whole thing lose and parked it on a slope so the water should run off the front, I haven't been to the lake since december to see how it worked.
