Trim Switch

Black Dog

New member
Got the boat into the garage tonight and ran through the checklist to get the boat ready to put into the water and noticed the trim switch will allow the drive to go down, but not up. Is the switch replaceable? Thanks.

If it's the switch on the engine I just recently had the same problem and fixed it by soldering the connection so you might want to check that. Same for the one on the throttle or you can just pick up a replacement. I see em on e-bay all the time.

check the solenoid on the trim pump - that's usually the problem. there are 2 one for up and one for down.
