West Michigan 242 Owners

I need a favor, I have been looking at 2 242's for sale and think I want one. Problem is that they are both a few hours away. I would like to look at a 242 for size before making the drive. Anyone in West Michigan out there that can help me out?

The 242 has pretty much the same size cockpit as any 30' boat the only thing the cabin is missing is sink and fridge. I really liked the cushions that stowed away in the bulkhead and could then be pulled out to lay down between the two benches to make an additional bed. My wife and I usually slept there because the ceiling height in the v berth is really low

I don't know anyone around here that has one, but if you find one for sale I might be able to look at it for you

Both boats look nice but why would you put a dog in your boat sales ad (Richmond)? People are strange.....

Some early 90s 25' Convincors are going in the mid teens price range, also.

Good luck in your search-

The one in il with the 330 will be very boring to drive 58-59 at best and there isn't much you can do with that motor
