Looks like my boat on the far side! Where was this picture taken? My boat was originally from Michigan..

i found the pic in the gallery under the 2006 checkmate poker run, wherever that was? the pic was indeed posted by "dave". just curious what power was in it and the details.....nice looking boat for sure! looks mean!:thumb:

The 253 is Dave Mills's boat, and the ZT33 is Jon Roberts Boat. The 253 is quick.
Both these guys put together the Checkmate Poker Runs on Lake Erie. Nice guys.

Not to piss anybody off....but wonder what the designer at checkmate was smoking when they came up with those graphics...sorry

Lol not my favorite design either but I could live with it. What I could never live with is that knight head. It looks like a strange sea horse to me and from a distance they just look like a blob of color. The newer cm knight logo is by far the best yet. Still a great looking boat

not even a great fan of whats on mine..they have a couple that are decent...thats the worst of the bunch to me...and I could not live with it...have to be wrapping that one !!

If i remember correctly,Dave's boat had a 600 Merc in it.

i dont care what the boat looks like if it had a 600 merc in it, i would bouce it:cheers: by the way.....i think the boat looks good:thumb: the only thing i dont like is the c-hawk graphic on the side:o the horse head could go away but doesnt bother me that much;) i do like the colors though:thumb:

I actually like the Checkmate logo of that era.

The swooshy things, I don't like, but it seemed like lots of things used those at that time. I remember various boats with those and even some cars and mini-vans with similar graphics.

The big horsehead I'll take a pass on. ;)

well let me say this, i did not start this thread to pick some unknown guys boat apart.....i posted it because i was curious what the boat was all about. it looks good to me:thumb: there are guys on this forum with different sizes, shapes, colors ect....

that being said should i post up a pic of my boat in a new thread so it can be discussed? if so i will:D i like daves boat, and would rock it every summer(if it does have a 600 in it:banana:)

continue on:rof:

definitely not meaning to pick apart anyones boat and probably should have left my opinions to myself on this one. the fact is that boat is bad azz any day of the week and the windscreen is a huge plus for me!

i thought the same thing about the windscreen untill i bought my 251, now i have "add on" wind breaks if you will that i can clamp on the windshield for when my wife and i are out running the boat....i can post pics if needed:thumb:

i'm familiar with those. the windscreens could use a few more inches and still look good. besides the look i like the safety when going to and from the bow
