Windshield / stay or go

I was camping on a river. The barge sent a wake so large at night that my boat windshield was crushed under the pier on one side. I have a 1983 19 ft. diplomat with the windshield on the drivers side now gone. Part of the framing is still there. Would it look bad to just take all the windows off the boat and place the little black plastic windshield in front of the drivers side and the passenger side. Anyone ever done that or seen that done? I do not know where to find those little sporty shields???

I am always on my knees looking above the windshield anyway - thought it may be easier to pull skiers, jump in etc...

thanks,

John

I prefer a windshield as well. Although I have had boats with & without them. If you have all of the pieces or most of them a new replacment or similar replacment can usually be made. If that would interest you give me a shout.. Although I will warn you it can get costly.. :)

I think it would depend on what kinda replacement you could find. No windshield looks like something is missing.
