Can someone tell me if trophy plus prop 13 3/4-26p serial 48-825944 would fit on a 225 xs or 250 xs
Thanx
Pierre

Claupie, I'm pretty sure it will work on either of those motors, but I think you have to use the "solid" flo-torque hub assembly because of the larger propshaft of the sportmaster/torquemaster gearcase. I've got a 225ProXS on a bass boat here with a 26" Tempest plus, and it has the solid adapter. Came from the factory that way. I know some of the bigger sterndrive stuff uses the solid adapter too for the same reason. If memory serves me correctly, those engines also use a different thrust washer, again because of the larger diameter prop shaft. I could be wrong. Maybe Wildman will chime in here. With all the hot Merc stuff he does, I'm sure he can tell you for sure.

Thanx J...This is a prop on ebay..and it does mention that it comes w/flo-torq hub assembley ..

Bravo outdrives use a solid hub (no cushion) but not the fat shaft as found on the sportmaster. Merc makes a hub kit to fit the fat shaft if the prop is a flo-torque II. But they ain't cheap. boatman

Gary...this prop is on ebay w/pics of kit...listing no.330228108203..
Is it posslble for you to check it out for me...Is the new TP for fat shaft available yet..My first choice would be TP..
Much appriciated..
Thanx

That prop will fit anything if you purchase the right hub kit! I am not sure, but I think the fat shat kits are over $100! You may find a used one on here or screem and fly. The TP is not available yet for the Merc hubs, but should be soon. They have aluminum props and some SS available now with merc hubs, but not the Hi-perf. stuff. boatman

Claupie, you will love that prop!! The 26 Trophy is probably right on the money for your 225 Promax. With the interchangeable hubs, you will be able to use that prop.

Sorry Claupie..My Bad...I read about your new purchase weeks ago, I just had a "senior" moment! lol At any rate, with a 250 xs and 10" of setback, I think you may need to go to a 27 Trophy Plus. With the additional motor height you'll get from the setback, you should be able to spin a 27 without any problem...

DANG claupie......just when I thought I was gonna get ya over here on the "Blue Side"? LOL!!! I want some numbers on that baby when you get it. And I mean HONEST numbers. I'm not done dialing in the E-tec powered 2000 we've got yet. And remember, that's a 225!
Since we're so far apart, we'll just drag race online! That could be fun. You send me pictures of your GPS numbers and I'll send you mine.
