CHECKMATE OWNER'S RALLY 2010

We are bringing our six year old son kind of making a mini family vacation out of the rally. He's love the water so he would probably be mad at his mom and I if we left him home.:sssh: :bounce:

I'm bringing my 11 year old son, Plays well with others,

I know its going to hit 64ish mph ;). I am going to be just a little dog there. Might just bring the playmate so I don't get showed up 2 bad:o

I'll be glad to see 60 MPH, with my fishing mota!!!! I might add some black stripes on the old johnnyrude to pick up some speed.

Any answers on this IC? anyone
Barry will know better than I

Oh I get it lets down play it, But I think your trying to pull a 16' Glasstron move on us
You know what it is, just an old junkyard mota:devil:. With that nose cone, I might not even break 60! I don't even know if I can keep up with them fishing mota's. Mike you will have to help me load them sand bags into the front of Rob's boat:sssh:

I may have loaded a couple already.

We are going for sure! So that makes me and the gf... and we play well with each other:p

We'll be down there on Friday hopefully around noon and stay till Sunday. I don't know what I'll be bringing with me. If the Checkmate is still here, we'll take that and be camping with the gang and Conley (so somone save us a spot:bigthumb:). If the Checkmate is sold by then, I'll probably be bringing the 21 and be camping... also, there is a possibility I could bring the 24 and stay onboard in a cove with a group- either way its going to be a party!

Only 4 more months until the rally.Hopefully the weather will keep getting better and everyone can get thier boats ready to start the season. I am going to try to get mine started up and everything checked over this week end.Looking forward to the first warm days!!!:thumb:

I am doing a few rigging changes right now on my convincor, I don't mean to rub it in but it was 90 degrees here today. The trees are blooming the sun is shining, You guys aren't far behind I hope.
Last year it did not get this hot so soon and my sister in Wi said it was the longest winter since she has been there. So I hope this is a sign of things warming up and staying warm so everyone will be ready for a great gathering.

I checked out the local lake last weekend... still had a little ice in the channel, rest was open water. We've had warm weather lately, so I'm sure its all gone now.

Got a little work for my mate also. I had to put a new outdrive on her last year from hitting a log on the Mississippi. So with the new outdrive on, I am adding a shower to make her last longer on longer runs. Otherwise I am ready for spring and the Rally. We are staying at Lees Ford Marina. Arriving on Thursday night and leaving Tuesday, unless we decide to stay longer. We have all week to hit new waterways. We might hit the Fox Chain by Chicago for the Thursday night drag races at Blarneys Island. The lakes here is in Wisconsin are not ready for boats yet. The water is a little hard. But the Wisconsin River had some brave hearted water skiers on it yesterday.
