Enforcer in the water

The payback for all of the hardwork is finally here:cheers:

As expected, she looks way better in the water:bigthumb: Now... the truck needs a paint job to match the boat:rof:

Finally!!!:D I'll try to get better pictures. I think if it was high noon the pictures would've been better.

Check this picture out. The sun gave the mate a funky looking color. I don't why the camera does this at certain times of the day and it's a Nikon!

It did the same to mine tonight. The side with the sun on it looks orange in the pics and the other side looks like the red it really is. I think our boats are both about the same color red or at least they probably were to begin with.

My gelcoat on the bottom is the same color as yours.

I was loosing bow lift as I trimmed the motor up, plus shooting a huge rooster tail. :D

You are a touch high, I could never get mine to hold a good grip with the motor too high. These boats don't seem to like that much lift. My guess is that if they were running a little faster and the boat was a little more out of the water from natural lift, you could go a little higher without breaking traction and probably gain some from it. Just my uneducated guess.

I tried moving the motor up two holes once thinking I could run the motor high like it was a Pulsare or something, that didn't work out too well. :( You'll get it figured out. Plenty of warm weather left, the main thing is it ran good and got you back to the dock.

John

Robbie , no worry it is the color of the water , and to much sun to show case the boat .

Our water down here is a greenish/blue color in the rivers it's black. When the sun hits it at certain angles the boat looks orange. The paint is bright red, go figure!!

I lowered the motor 2.5" that put the centerline of the prop at 3" below the v-pad. I'll run it again on Thursday to see if that helped. The lake is about 15 mins from the house that also helps with fine tuning.

It sounds like that hull likes what my Liner likes and between 3 and 4 inches is my sweet spot depending on how the boat is loaded. If I have a lot of weight in the front I need to go a little deeper even.

I'm not sure why the boat is bow heavy or at least that's what I think. There's nothing underneath the cuddy other than lifejackets. We put the towels and food under there when we are out on the lake. The cooler stays by the bench seat unless we have other people with us.

I don't know, I sit really far back in my Liner so unless people are in the boat there isn't much up there except a little upholstery but all I hear about is how its bow heavy. If I'm not mistaken, like my liner, your Enforcer has a straight V and no pad. I think that without the pad to ride on it needs the setback, correct prop, and lots of bite to get it out of the water. Can't wait to see what it runs when its sorted out.

What kind of Nikon are you shooting with? The picture appears to be over exposed. Try to stand in a position where you're not getting the reflection off the boat....I know I know, almost impossible with that paint job, but that is the price you have to pay for a million dollar paint job:thumb:

The boat looks great Robbie, even my short little 18'6" Eluder loses bite any higher that 3" below, with one or two people in the front it likes 3.75" below or a few fatties even deeper, I've had a few boats that a manual jackplate works great for, this one a hydraulic is a must have item IMO.

Nikon P90 Cool Pix. That million paint is so shiney I needed sunglasses just to drive the boat. :thumb:The deck had a glare from the sun yesterday.:D

Thanks John!! The next upgrade will be a hydro jackplate. I have the same problem when the boat is loaded. I even use the tabs to level the boat out, some of my family are on the heavy side.:shakehead:
