Crazy little jet boat

Nice vid. I am not sure which country is more crazy, New Zealand or Australia for these small jet boats.

Good luck with the project if you start one.

I think the crazy Australians that are putting Merc 1350's in those little 21-23 foot boat THEN water ski racing at 120+mph take the cake over them all!!

But these little aluminum jet boats are pretty bad ass!! There are a bunch of small rivers around me.....hmmmmmmmm.......

I think the wheels are turning. :poke: I will wait patiently for the progress reports!

I was building the Glen-L Crackerbox but stopped when I bought the Starflite to resto. Shame on me. Hull is built, bottom has Mahogany planks bonded to it. Just need to plank the side, bore the shaft and rudder holes before turning it over. Have the motor and all hardware for the driveline along with steering controls. I stretched it the 10% allow by the plans so I can get a trans in it without messing up the CG and CB.

Once I sell the house here in Cape May and relocate full time to Wellesley Island in the 1000 Islands, NY I will complete it and ride proud in a mahogany speedboat.

Glen-L has neat plans and designs.

Ya that's on awesome boat that's next on my list. I think this is one sexy boat and I've seen it dose 70mph.

Wow he's doing a really nice job ! I'm jealous of his cnc router! Dose he build boats ? That's a poop load of spring clams.

Hey guys I'm still on the kick of these little jet boats they call them jet dinghies. I came across 2 Polaris 650 triple jet skis. One has a head problem with jug taken apart. The second seams to be intact. They both have been sitting in one of my buddy's yard uncovered. There's about 4" or 6" of water inside of both hulls. Dose anyone know much about these. I don't mind doing a rebuild and what not just wondering if you guys had any input. On pumps and motors. Don't want to drag them home and find out there junk to start with. I know they will need work to start with. Best part is there for free :)
