Sam, What's the plan for new power on the Liner. I had the exact same motor on mine. I was getting mid 60's. Put on a 3.3L 250 Etec and gained about 7 mph. I loved the Etec even though people tell me a 250XS Merc is faster.

There's probably still more in it Mark. Without sacrificing the drive ability drive ability driveability or utility on my Liner I'm seeing 75 with an old EFI Merc. That's up 12mph from the 200 Looper it came with and a 24 Trophy.

I messed a lot with it and best run was 74. But I liked the handling with less setback so went down to 6" and was happy with around 70- 72.
