    World Record Raft

Glad to hear they hit the record. Heard they had a few problems during last year's attempt that kept the record from being recognized. Love those pics. Especially the ones looking upstream on the South Channel and past Grocery Cut up into Little Muscamoot. Damn, we used to have a hoot on...

    water on floor

You might want to take a close look at where the hull and deck join together also. Spray comes riding up the hull and gets forced up under the rubrail. If there is an unsealed gap there water will get in.

    Question about Pettit paint

Are you thinking of the one-part polyurathane, Easy-Poxy? I've used the Interlux Brightside...basically the same paint. It has a reasonably good finish but not really as durable as I had hoped for on surfaces the get walked on and scrubbed a lot. Also, if you are thinking dark or really...

    Mich Pulse's Mate

I grew up in New Baltimore....now living here in Central IL. We used to run the flats in anything that would float. From airboats to rowboats. Funny how you can recognize pictures of LSC just from the color of the water. Have a safe summer out there and try not to fall off the docks @ Browns...
