World Record Raft

Hello all! If anyone can make it to Lake St. Clair, MI....This is a fun event. Organizers are trying to beat the world record for raft off. Last year we beat the record, but there was a technicality. This year there will be tons of boats. It's $5 to register, and it goes to charity. The event is August 13th. You will see some unreal boats. If your out there stop on by, I'll have some cold ones. There is an article in August 4th Macomb Daily, and a checkmate is in the picture. LATER!

boy, I wish I would have seen this topic in time - I would have boated up there and joined in.

What part of the Bay was that?

Thats alot of boats.

Glad to hear they hit the record. Heard they had a few problems during last year's attempt that kept the record from being recognized.

Love those pics. Especially the ones looking upstream on the South Channel and past Grocery Cut up into Little Muscamoot. Damn, we used to have a hoot on those waters. Kinda makes this old man a little homesick
