    Still in the future, dont run that motor on the hose unless you really need to. Cheap insurance.

    Yup you fried it. If you have to start the motor out of the water, drive goes down and you tape off the nose cone. When you had your drive up you pinched it off, add in to the equation the height of the impeller in reference to the ground, gravity wins. When your boat is in the water the...

    No. I got real lucky. Bought it with Ebay app on my phone while driving down 90E into Albany LOL. The guy who owned it was a truck driver and brought it to me himself. He was a great guy. I don't know if I would recommend buying something like that sight unseen but like I said I got real lucky!!
