    Bought a 1986 24' Checkmate Enforcer last week. 454/365hp. Awesome boat. Can't beleive it's an '86. Took it out yesterday. Wife & I feel like drug addicts. We almost called in sick today so we could go for another ride ........ Checkmate fever .........

    I am considering buying a 1986 Checkmate Enforcer. Does anyone have any experience or advice to offer relative to what I should look for such as the transom and stringers? Anything inherent to the design of this boat that I should be leary of? Thank you, Jeff.
