Checkmate Enforcer

I am considering buying a 1986 Checkmate Enforcer. Does anyone have any experience or advice to offer relative to what I should look for such as the transom and stringers? Anything inherent to the design of this boat that I should be leary of? Thank you, Jeff.

Is the enforcer an inboard or outboard?

Yes, it is in WV. The owners manual says 350hp, but everyone tells me that they were 365 in 1992. Just bought a new house and the boat needs to go! I have alot of expense ahead of me, so boating may have to wait a while. Call me, 304-618-1506. Gary

Bought a 1986 24' Checkmate Enforcer last week. 454/365hp. Awesome boat. Can't beleive it's an '86. Took it out yesterday. Wife & I feel like drug addicts. We almost called in sick today so we could go for another ride ........ Checkmate fever .........
