    I would think 65 with a 250 XS is pretty attainable for the BRX. WM would probably know for sure. There is a thread here with a Craigslist ad for a 24 BRX with a 225 Etec that claims 70, but I think that is overly optimistic.

    I ran my 2400 in some pretty choppy water and it handled it very well at speed. Really had to be rough to make it pound, and it ran better the faster I went. Only had a 225 and topped out round 65 with a 2400 pulsare. BRX would be a great boat with much less maintenance on the interior.

    Nice CM. Not sure what somebody was thinking with the Garmin (420x?) stuck over on the port dash looking at the sky. They will shut down in overheat mode if they are pointed into the sun. Spec 28 for stock? I like your style. Interested to see what it runs with the 225 optis as well.

    That must be one of the first 2400s made. Nice deal, probably go around 20K. Looks just like mine without the big yellow horse head, which I wish the one I had did not have. Lost of fun for 20K, although this boat probably just breaks 60-62 with a 225 opti. but gets around 6mpg.

    Sweet! Love the pop up cleat and nav light. Just remember that water goes through them when washing the boat, and that water will probably run under the pad in the cabin. The color scheme is perfect. Boat came out great. Enjoy it.
