    1973 V-mate project

    So for the floor, I cut 3/4 plywood and put into place. Cut the edges at the correct angle so it laid correctly. Then I drilled small 1/4 inch holes down the middle of the floor and took measurements to the bottom of the hull. Then I was able to secure a stringer-floor support down the length...

    Thanks for the reply, used 1708 Biaxial mat for this project. Used mostly Polyester resin on this project to keep the cost down, and the ease of wetting out the mat. Used Epoxy where needed for additional strength.

    Got some wiring plugged in, top deck installed. Was not easy. When the new transom was installed I built it just a hair thicker than original. Had a hell of time getting the corner to drop in to place. Lots of prying and cuss words. Seats and interior turned out nice. Not sure where the...

    Interlux Bilgekote Grey was used on boat. Pretty much all we use, and have had great success with it.

    Steering wheel installed and gauges, turned out pretty good for amateur hour. try to get the two halves together soon.

    Glassed in shelf to help with support of transom. Installed 1500 bilge pump with float switch. Over kill but why not.

    Had a paint mask made and had the Checkmate logo done in Paint. Looks Good. Knocked out some combing pads so I can get the shift, throttle in place.
