Hull sides painted, have a few runs that will be wet sanded out and buffed. Should be ready to mate top deck and hull next week.

Had a paint mask made and had the Checkmate logo done in Paint. Looks Good. Knocked out some combing pads so I can get the shift, throttle in place.

What paint exactly did you use for the bilge area? And have you had any prior experience with it?

Boats looking great by the way!

Got some wiring plugged in, top deck installed. Was not easy. When the new transom was installed I built it just a hair thicker than original. Had a hell of time getting the corner to drop in to place. Lots of prying and cuss words. Seats and interior turned out nice. Not sure where the motor has to be so just put the bracket in the middle. I struggled with the carpet. Sides and front went well, but the floor and around the seats were tough. Was able to tuck and blend pretty well but its not perfect. I used the gas tank that came with the boat which was a aluminum 15 gal that was custom built for the boat. It sits in really nice. I will get some pics of it. Mounted battery on the shelf I built on transom. Need to get a stereo installed. I put a canvas curtain on the back while I build the rear seat. I think I should be able to get it out next week for a spin weather depending. This year has really been mild in MI I'm happy with how it turned out. Anxious to get it out on the water.

Fantastic job. I am replacing my floor as you did. What fiberglass mat did you use to cover the new wood and tie in to the hull?
Thanks for posting your restore!
